Dr. Chen Feng

Lecturer in Machine Learning (Assistant Professor), Queen's University Belfast

Dr. Feng founded the QUB ML Lab in September 2025 and works on robust machine learning, computer vision, and AI safety under imperfect information. He was previously a Research Fellow in Machine Learning at University College London with Prof. Miguel Rodrigues, and holds a PhD from Queen Mary University of London supervised by Prof. Ioannis Patras and Dr. Georgios Tzimiropoulos, an MSc from Tsinghua University, and a BSc from Nankai University.

He is an Associate Editor of IEEE Computational Intelligence Letters, serves on the editorial boards of CAAI Transactions on Intelligent Systems, the International Journal of Intelligent Robotics and Applications, and Big Data and Cognitive Computing, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
